My clothes are a random collection of trousers, shirts or other jackets and T-shirts. Some are ill-fitting, others are quite ok but do not have a good companion that would create a sensible whole. I used to try to reduce everything to one set – the same every day, but it is boring (and pretentious).
I would like to finally have a shopping assistant. Someone who is an expert in a given field, knows my preferences, how much I weigh, how tall I am, what jacket will look good on me, and what shoes I have in my closet. Then maybe I could finally look somewhat presentable. I won’t pay a person to do it though, because I don’t want to waste money on it (plus it seems quite pretentious to me). So I’m stuck in this state until the machine does it.
For many people, their purchases are an important part of their identity. Probably how we write and work too, and yet more and more of us are telegram blast happy to entrust these duties to artificial intelligence. What’s more, it seems to me that we treat products created by chatGPT as our own, original works. After all, WE were the ones who prompted, right?
It will be the same with shopping. AI assistants will dress us, design our diet, our interiors, our music, and what we read. Yet we will feel like the authors of these purchases and our identity—ultimately, these are elements subordinated to our taste, right?

Google will help you with your shopping
Google has “rebuilt from the ground up” its shopping platform with the help of artificial intelligence.
The new iteration of Google Shopping will match the offer to users’ needs even more accurately and make it easier for them to search for optimal products. For example, AI will help choose clothes not only for the season, but also for the region. Thanks to this, users looking for a winter jacket adapted to the windy conditions of the Tri-City will see different products on the list of results than those clicking from, say, Katowice.
Google will not only suggest what is good for us, but also explain why it thinks so. It will also sort the results into (sub)categories, so that it is easier for us to compare products with similar parameters. Filters will also appear in the side panel – known from e-shops and price comparison websites. The giant will also take on the role of the latter, presenting users with price lists and even personalized offers.
In a word, there is a lot of new stuff. It is possible that after the next update you will not even need to visit third-party sites.
Design your own assistant
Microsoft accelerates in AI race under pressure from investors and competitors.
The giant announced that next month it will provide companies with tools to create autonomous AI agents as part of its Copilot Studio platform. These are programs with more advanced features than standard chats, including the ability to plan and sequence actions or interact with the environment with minimal human involvement.
Microsoft positions autonomous agent technology as “AI-era applications.” Such tools allow companies to automate customer query handling, lead identification, and product management.
In September, Salesforce released a platform for creating AI agents. The solution, called Agentforce, allows companies to set up their own media software development startup assistant to support communication with employees and customer service. The bots can impersonate customer service specialists, HR specialists, and even salespeople.
It is probably only a matter of time before they step into the shoes of CEOs, supervisory board members, as well as investors and competitors.
Disney Settles in Europe
Disney wants to invest at least $5 billion in Europe.
The company intends to spend about one billion a year on film and television productions.
The main beneficiary will be the UK, where the giant has spent $3.5 billion over the past five years, but there are also plans to expand to the continent.
The company has just wrapped work on “Snow White,” is finishing up the next installment of “Fantastic Four,” and is working on yet another feature film set in the “Star Wars” universe.
Disney has reason to be excited. Deadpool & Wolverine, the thirty-fourth production in the so-called Marvel Cinematic Universe to be released in the UK, has become the seventh highest-grossing superhero film of all time.
The success has challenged the forecasts of analysts who predicted the demise of the genre just a year ago.
More experience in marketing
Experiential marketing is coming back to life after Covid.
According to forecasts from research agency PQ Media, this year spending on campaigns directly engaging consumers will exceed pre-pandemic levels for the first time.
The main driving force in this segment are events, which were missing during the lockdowns and social distancing. Sporting events are bulk data leading the way, accounting for over 67% of the experiential marketing market in the B2C channel. Conferences dominate the B2B channel.
In 2023, the largest market for engagement marketing was – as always – the United States, where spending in this segment amounted to $52.8 billion (45.5% of global expenditure).
New opportunities in Amazon Ads
Amazon Ads has refreshed its Amazon DSP programmatic platform and equipped it with new capabilities.
Advertisers received a more user-friendly interface and better analytical tools, including support for recommendations based on machine learning.
The platform’s operation has also been simplified. According to tests, the time it takes to create a campaign has been shortened by as much as 75 percent.
Another new feature is the advertising data manager. The tool allows for the integration of data from various sources, such as Salesforce or Treasure Data.
Amazon also released two new tools based on generative AI: AI creative studio for creating short video ads and Audio generator for creating 30-second audio ads.
