Enable two-factor authentication for Gmail Google Workspace email

  • Open a browser on your. Enable two-factor computer and navigate to netherlands telegram data the Two-Step Verification page.
  • Sign in to your Google Account.
  • Read the instructions and click “Start” to continue.

  Select your verification method

  • You’ll see three options for. Enable two-factor setting up two-step verification in Gmail.

  • You’ll see a page to set up verification via text message or phone call.
  • Click “See more options”. You will be given other options to choose from.

  Verify by phone

  Complete the verification process

  • You will receive a PIN via text message or phone call to your mobile phone.
  • Enter the PIN you received and tap Next again.

  Turn on two-factor authentication

  • Once you enter your PIN, you will be able to activate the two-step verification process.
  • Click “Turn On” to activate.

  Prompt via Google:

  • After you sign in to your Google Account on a new device, Google Prompt will display an approval screen.
  • To use this method, select “Show more options” and then select “Google Tips.”
  • Open the “Settings app”, tap “Accounts”, select “Add account”, “Select Google”, and then log in to the Google account on your phone.

  Use Security Key

  • A security key is a physical device that plugs into your computer’s USB port or connects using Bluetooth.
  • Select Show more options again, then select Add security key.
  • Click “Next”.
  • Insert the security key into your computer.

How to turn off 2FA

To turn  off 2-step verification on your Google account:

  • Open Settings on your device turkey data and tap “Google”.
  • Select “Manage your Google Account”.
  • At the top of the screen, tap “Security.”
  • In the ‘How do I sign in to Google’ section, find and click ‘2-step verification’. You may need to sign in again here.
  • Select Close.
  • Click “Close” again to confirm your selection.
  • Delete any backup codes saved for the account to ensure they cannot be used.

These steps help ensure that 2FA is completely disabled, and all backup access methods are removed.
